The 2nd edition of Kisan Of India Samman is set to spotlight the farmers, innovators, and changemakers who are redefining agriculture in their own way. This year’s focus is on women and youth, because the next generation of farming is not just working in the fields, but also changing its direction with new ideas, technology, and entrepreneurship.

First Edition Launched The 'Kisan of India Samman' was launched, inviting nominations from across the country and honoring agricultural heroes across seven categories for the first time.
Award ceremony in New Delhi, Seven 'Agriculture Heroes' will be honored across seven categories. Nominations are currently open—farmers from across the country are invited to share their stories.
A farmer who has made a significant contribution in their field will be selected from each category.
Jury members will evaluate nominations on standards such as new ideas in agricultural techniques, sustainable methods and impact on society.

Kisan of India identified and honoured farmers from across the country who are doing meaningful work at the grassroots level. I am deeply grateful for being recognised in the Organic Farming category. This platform is playing an important role for farmers and the agriculture sector.
Today, I was honoured by Kisan of India in the Dairy Farming category. I am extremely grateful to Kisan of India for considering me worthy of this recognition. I also got the opportunity to learn and gain valuable insights from the sessions held during the award ceremony.
I started my poultry business at the age of 16 with 100 chickens and an investment of ₹3,000. Today, I have 1.8 lakh chickens, provide employment to 50 people, and have a business worth ₹15 crore. I am grateful to Kisan of India for recognising my work and honouring me in the Agri Startup category.
I thank Kisan of India for identifying and honouring farmers who are doing good work across the country. I am proud of this recognition and will continue to work towards encouraging more farmers from our region to do better and earn recognition across the country.
I am extremely grateful to Kisan of India. We were facing losses, but through processing, we were able to turn those losses into good profits. Kisan of India helps take new technologies and innovations developed by farmers to other farmers, giving them an opportunity to learn and grow.
I am very happy to receive this honour. Through my work in agriculture and fisheries, I have provided employment to thousands of people. My message to fellow farmers, especially young people, is: don’t just run after jobs. Get involved in farming and fisheries, take these sectors forward, and achieve even greater recognition than I have.

Details of the farmer’s innovative work, photographs, and information regarding related achievements must be filled in the form. The more detailed the information, the easier it will be for the jury to evaluate it.
A panel of experts evaluates all nominations based on criteria such as the use of new technologies, sustainable practices, societal impact, and contributions to improving farmers’ livelihoods. A winner is selected from each category.
